When I was a very young boy,i was of the belief that our politicians were unpaid custodians of the state who worked at the job because the cared about the country and society,almost like clergy and the religious orders,then when I must have been about 7 or 8 yrs old Charlie Haughey and his supporters came around canvassing and it was like a carnival,sweets and lollipops for us children and promises of tax cuts and the usual stuff for the voters.Since then of course the reality that politicians ar basicily careerists,drivin by monetery gain looking after themselves and there own ilk circle.
Then 2 yrs ago I found out about this guy.There is a further link with more info at the bottom of the story too.
I just thought it would make an interesting post.

Thank you Jaz.
Human rights and civil rights are just as important nowadays as in the past.
The federalisation of Europe,globalisation,materialism,apathy of citizens and not exercising ones right to vote... the list goes on, are eroding peoples liberty without them even being aware of it.
