Righto - Friday 1st August 2014 - there's a 'bit of a do' happening in a Cork city centre venue. Check your diary so  I've had this posted on the Meets Page for a while - but some folks don't read that

You didn't offend/insult - No probs.
I've been accused of being all-sorts over the 12 years I've been around the scene, both in the UK and here in Ireland [all of which was malicious rumours started by folks who don't play by the Rules] and can understand anyone who doesn't already know me being curious/nervous etc.
This event was aimed primarily at folks who DO know me already, but I believe in giving - well-behaved - new folks the chance to get into the social side so they can make a start in raising their profile here too.
We all have to start somewhere, hence the invite for 'Newbies' to join in.

I can support this too, I met Marie a few years back and have to say she is very genuine and one of the friendliest people you'll meet. Then again I'm not verified so what I say must be taken with a pinch of salt.
