To be honest, I have more family in England (Irish born family) than Italy....
Personally, I would support the English team if for no other reason than that. Not knocking the Italians or anyone else but have we not got closer ties to our neighbour ??

For me personally I have nothing against hardworking English people whatsoever however the yobs associated with their football team who notably wrecked lansdowne Rd make me wish them bad luck I believe lansdowne Rd was just 1 instance but still wrong |

You are not wrong about the yobs..I was in Lansdowne Road that night, after travelling 5 hours to get there and 5 hours home...

I get this point, Northern Ireland is my country so why should I support England cause they are the next closest? Ive family in America too but I wouldn't support them! It's Holland for me as it is every other year Norn Iron aren't in it, purely because I like the football they play  |

I have no problem anyone supporting other teams. Being referred as them lot.
I find uncomfortable. Im not patriotic but if he just mentioned come on Italy. This thread would not of gone slightly tits up.
