"What's Sunday life?
I had to google . Belfast telegraphs magazine. (If that's what his referring to)"
That won't have much circulation then. Maybe SDLP are trying to win back lost ground by being 'user friendly'? |

"I'd look over it swingers were the scum of the earth but we're here for kicks not shooting people or selling drugs the media should funk off"
Couldn't agree more. .... swinging is not illegal.... nobody doing anything against their will. .. Why don't they go find something useful to write about. .. ..... rant over |

The sunday life is not a magazine it is the biggest sunday paper in northern Ireland I just read the story myself!!
He was exposed in the paper as being a councillor for the sdlp and being on the site full length nude pics of him printed with his manhood blocked out!! Also the profile of the person he met on a social which we now know was a undercover reporter!! When he met them someone took pictures of their meet in starbucks and they were printed also!!
Makes me think twice about being on here as I with my job etc cannot take the risk of being on the front page of a national newspaper and exposed as a swinger!! |

Did i misunderstand? Is Mark Durkan the person involved here? Or someone associated with him? Poor man, that somebody has nothing better to do with their time and expenses than to wreck someone's career and homelife for the sake of a poxy story. |

"You don't need to be a prominent public figure imagine your parents reading this or your wife or your friends knowing about it"
So you think a paper is going to print a story about a Joe Soap(no offence)who isn't doing anything illegal? You may be right, but I wouldn't have thought so unless it had an axe to grind with him. |

Totally agree though a cheap story embarrassing someone is out of order!!" Thanks for clearing that up. I'd have been tempted for Mark Durkan |

Maybe you should then. |

It's not the first time this paper has done an exposé on this or two other prominent sites
However they target those that are news worthy. Those that are portraying one lifestyle in public and doing completely different in private
They aren't interested in mr and mrs bloggs who mean nothing to the public. You aren't newsworthy
At the end of the day it's up to each and every one of us to protect ourselves. You don't want outing then choose your playmates and venues carefully.
For the most of us, we are open enough about our lifestyles not to be too concerned. Those of us who are here on the quiet, not letting either family or friends know perhaps need to be a tad more careful
Sure none of us are breaking laws, but I think a lot of us would be mortified to be identified in a picture in the weekend papers |

Funny how people advocate coffee meets as being the safest way to meet someone? I've always said, it puts you in a public place, at a set time and leaves you wide open for a stitch up.
Reporter's can't show nude/xxx pics on their fake profiles and yet countless people advocate no pics?
Reporter's won't have verifs that can be checked...they'll simply have a self verification hidden from view and yet loads of people say 'my verifs are my business and why the hell should I show you them'
Jog on and learn a lesson....this happens regularly...use common sense. |

Just as i thought. In all fairness, we all take risks of sorts being here. I'm sure most of us have people we don't want knowing every detail of our private lives so it's up to us to protect ourselves as best we can.
Ironically, i chose to hide my veris for privacy reasons, as every time i posted one, i got comments from a few people who seemed to think my business was their business. |

I really have to disagree with you there nippy about most of us being open about being on here. Id say you are in the minority of being open about being here. If you didnt care if people knew what difference would it make if u were front page news.. 3 people from my life know and no more and no more will be finding out! |
