I like both dom and sub males. Each type has its own appeal but in saying that most men who claim to be submissive I've found at least, have a view of it that comes only from porn films and not a proper understanding of what bdsm is. Just think that it will get them a kinky lay. |

I'm neither dominant nor submissive. But it's fun to play with both sides. Calling a man sissy because they're submissive in the bedroom is very ignorant and rude.
Just because someone likes to be submissive in bed doesn't mean they are in life. Some people have a lot of responsibilities in life and work and maybe just enjoy letting someone else take charge for a bit of fun. |

Each to their own.
A sub guy makes most sense to a woman who likes to play Domme, definitely isn't for everyone. A Domme has a lot of respect for a good sub, and won't see him as less 'manly' for having the balls to explore his sexuality.

To me it's strange! it's not something I would associate with a manly man! if a bloke I associated with been an alpha male said to me I love been submissive doing this and that for women's pleasure I'd be shocked! The description "alpha male" seems to be used in the animal Kingdom to describe a male that dominates the other males in the group. That seems to be demonstrated by them mounting the submissive males. Interestingly "alpha male" gorillas have very small penises. Just saying. Draw your own conclusions. |

Nikki is correct here as regard the alpha male title. However it's the submissive types that do all the running round chasing females, beating their chests etc. the Alpha male is secure in the position they hold and does not need to resort to constant chasing or humping. The alpha male is the one who helps the females rear the young and any other tasks needed to keep a cohesive family union. The alpha male is usually the quietest one, the most observant one and the one you would least think is the alpha. |

I wasn't trying to say your wrong or your right but there will be people who take offence when someone uses those terms and agree with you they were not words you should have used.

this! All you've pretty much have done was giving thumbs up to the ones who said that it's not for them and the others were either ignored or now being told that you're allowed to have your opinion.
It's not a voting pole and a popularity requests of getting as many people to agree with you as possible. |

Maybe you intended it to encourage debate but your intemperate language provoked a different response. I was surprised to see what seemed to be a very intolerant attitude to male submission. I accept that the general populace is still less than tolerant but hope that in.forums like this we can foster greater understanding. (Indeed the support on.this and other threads shows it can be expected.)
I think we all accept that one person will like something that another will be appalled by. We just need to understand that we should try not to make them feel uncomfortable on this forum. |
