A party that abolished marches of any shape or form opted for integrated housing and schools and I had this put to me today thought I'd ask fellow fabbers |

Is that not the model that General Pinochet introduced in Chile? No in answer I would not vote to ban any marches and as far as I was aware most parties are in favor of integrated schools but years of "ghetto" populations and church pressures have hampered it |

I didn't vote correct as I believe every single one of them up on stormont hill are completely useless but I would vote for a party who offered the above |

in reality Hugh, no party is going to ban all marches as it would be seen as a restriction of freedom of speach. Personally its not a party I would vote for, but does the alliance party not espouse your views on education and housing?

Successive British governments and more recently the excuse for what passes as government in NI have been far too soft on the issue of marching in the north. Ban them all and every bigoted bastard that takes part in them. Ban the flying of all flags and remove all sectarian graffiti.
Stop giving grants for sectarian eleventh night bonfires, remove funding from so called community and victims groups and stop wasting money on policing fleg protests.
Spend the money where it is really needed, hospitals, schools, roads and on proper community projects. |
