I never mentioned beauty!
If I'm into a guys personality, sense of humour etc, then they become hugely attractive. I'm not that shallow that I go for looks alone, all picture and no sound is boring as hell!! |

Great personality and a good sense of humour, i dislike people up their own asses very much, so can't judge by just a pic, chatting to a person is my way of knowing if i like him |

I don't mind cutting corners or breaking the rules now and again. But when you have to try and decipher everything you read it can be tiring. Like reading an Irvine Welsh novel. He's a dark wee man!

Conversation has to be engaging, and with sense of humour. Original. Compliments dont do much for me tbh. Being personal without asking too many private questions. Turn offs: 1) asking private questions such as: where do you live? 2)asking for pics especially without sending one yourself first! And I mean face pic! 3) sending over 3 pics of yourself . 4) sending pics with other ppl in it!!! 5) asking me to wear something revealing for coffee meet!!! I wear what I want and always casual for coffee meet. 6) being boring.....sorry |

"We all have our preferences classy, i don't get how you can know if you like or not just by a picbut that is your preference , we all have our own "
its hardly the same thing ,at least u can see his physical appearance in a pic,and u can tell whether or not yur sexually attracted to him,by grammar and spelling u cant!and fyi i dont meet guys just cos i like the luk of their pic!theres more to it! |

Bad spelling or grammar sometimes can't be helped, but text speak grinds my gears. It's lazy, and realistically it takes no extra time to write a sentence that's legible. Some of the silly text speak mails I've received here, it would be easier to decipher hieroglyphics! |

To you physical appearance is very important, that is your choice
To me trying to read text speak annoys me and that is my choice
I have seen previous posts where you always said about face pic and physical attraction to be very important to you , just pointed that out |

You've asked an age old question that smarter men than you or I have failed to answer but it makes for a great thread.
I personally don't think the sexes are meant to understand one another totally. If you knew what the ultimate wow for a woman was there'd be no thrill of the chase, sure it'd make gettin laid easier but she'd lose her intrigue and allure if you knew just how to work her from the back.
As proven already on this thread, one woman's wow is not another's, so you may wanna specify which woman you want to wow |

It amuses me that I agree with two women for whom English is not a first language, that a well spelled, perhaps grammeractly(if that's a word, I'm relying on spell check here) is so important when emailing
I've said before, text speak and the rest is pure laziness. I want to be able to read something and understand what it means
Tink? There is a H - it's think
Quiet is a completely different word to quite
There and their are a mile apart
How is it that I being dyslexic and two women, for whom English is a foreign language, all agree that the written word is upmost ?
When you are getting to know each other online, all we have to go on is the written word. There was a post here just a few days back about how easy it was to misinterpret Why not work on the spelling to make life easier?
Then sure, when you have attracted me enough via emails, who needs to talk? |

Agree, it's not insurmountable but it does help.
The one that grinds my teeth is discrete and discreet, there is a world of difference between the two! But that could be the maths geek in me |

We all know that a flake is just a twirl with its clothes off, bold. |
