Don't you love chasing a delicious aroma when you're out & about, what piques your sense of smell?

For me it would be....

Baking bread

Fresh coffee brewing

Pork being spit roasted(I don't mean me)

Jasmine flowers

Bangor, Norn Iron

My Mum used to bake her own bread, so the smell holds lots of childhood memories...

Freshly shampooed hair.. That really clean smell...

And you're going to think I'm weird for this one but...

I love driving past a field that has just been sprayed with manure. That real 'smell of the country' smell...

I'm amazed that nobody else enjoys a good semi digested cabbage fart.

They have a pungent aroma all of their own. They cross that line to a point where they can almost be touched, and can any other scent convey such a wondrous sense of urgency. Ahh, memories!

The musky aroma of a lovers leather coat or trousers.

The warm oily scent of her wooly jumper.

The comforting fragrance of her chest as she holds your head after not having seen her in a while.

The savour of her when her love juices are flowing and she is wildly turned on.

The worn tee shirt you asked her for,to take with you when you have to leave her to work abroad for a few weeks/months.

The smell of both your hot bodies after an energetic session of passion.

The smell or a pine forest as you picnic.

Sand dunes after a summer rainfall mioxed with the salty air.

Old fashioned furniture polish.

French polish.

Freshly sawn cherrywood.

Solid oak burning at an outdoor cook up.

The bouquet of an aged, expensive red wine.

Black Morrocan hash, before and after burning.

Strawberries.

Fruitcake in the oven.

Damson jam been cooked on the stove.

Brown paper.

Silcocks base.

Your not alone, that smell of opening a pack of Zip, resonates with me. Kerosene is what your smelling. Its particularliy poignant to pregnant women, and very arousing.

I find the fragrance of cucumber and bananas can be arousing, and its nothing to do with shape, bananas contain potassium, and cucumbers smell fresh, both are male aphrodisiacs, interesting tread.

.. south

The smell of the kennelling area at the greyhound track on a frosty winter night. Alcohol rub, wet leather, the steam from the dogs coming in after racing. Men in flat caps smoking their pipes. Happy childhood memories racing our dogs.
