Have you ever read a message or text and got the wrong end if the stick.
The problem with messages and texts you can't see the mood of the writer so you read a message in the mood you are in. You may be in a playful mood and all is ok, but if you are in a bad mood the same message has a whole new meaning |

yes, totally agree
that's probably why some people get offended so quickly or get into arguments because they read into sometimes what they want to read.
My worst days on here were when I wasn't in the right head space. I got lots of abusive emails and I probably provoked some of them because I was in defensive mood. |

The absence of tone in written communication can be, and often is, a cause for major misunderstanding, one has to be careful how to phrase something, so as the recipient does not take the wrong meaning from it. It is a difficult one to always get right. Why I always prefer verbal communication, wherever possible! |
