I have a habit when meeting a lady..to catch her hand as in a hand shake and lean in to give a peck on her cheek... Are some of you girls uncomfortable with that approach... Do you think its to forward...
Just that i got a couple of different reactions over the weekend.. So i guess i might have to get out of that habit.. |

I don't mind either, as long as he's confident and doesn't do it in an awkward way so I think he may go for the lips.
Like Enna, I have a more continental approach to kissing lol

When I was introduced to Mr Laid at the m&g he stuck out his hand and god I was gutted. He was one person I wouldn't have minded going straight in for the peck on the cheek. The situation was rectified in a couple of hours however |

"There's always that awkward "are they going to kiss my cheek or are they going in for the kill already" moment. Prefer a quick hug; no kisses "
If their pants are around their knees it probably adds to the awkwardness a bit? |

I would always go for a peck on the cheek. I've always done it. I thought it was good manners
Can't see it being awkward unless there is hesitation or something. But i take the advice maybe not all ladies may like it... |

Oh this reminds me of an introduction peck-gone-wrong!!
I travelled abroad for work and in the morning I was picked up from the hotel by a colleague who I had never met before but been dealing with over the phone a lot.
He reached out to shake my hand and pulled me in for a peck on my cheek but I was still half asleep and didn't realise it and we ended up kissing each other on the mouth.
Gosh I was morto!!!
