If uve a decent pic photo verified and have verifications are a start!! Just b honest and genuine we are all here for the same thing! A bit of humour goes a long way too |

I think any message that looks like a little thought has been put into it deserves a reply.

Don't get disheartened when the majority still won't answer you.....there are just some very rude people around......I view it that if they can't be bothered answering, they probably weren't worth meeting anyhow.
I've had some great replies, from couples politely declining and they're worth 10 of the couples that blindly don't bother. |

I scan the first line of the unopened message, so if it's something offensive or too forward I won't open the email at all. E.g. if I see the word tits, pussy, cock, throbbing, horny, fucking, alone in hotel, meet tonight etc in that first line I won't look at it further.
Then I look at the profile and if it looks nice and normal I will open the email and reply, even if I'm not interested and to say this politely. |

from a single guy point of view first message is tough bescause of the competition i always send a respectful message but it gets deleted or ignored.if its to long its boring or if it short ur not making an effort.hard to please on here sometimes to be honest. |

Feck... It's all making sense now. Its not so much the message unless its the usual one line crap/insult but the pictures on display, the interests and the profile come into consideration. Mostly anyone that I am interested in I will either wink or send a message to first.

Spot on, though most of it can be garnered from a profile. Informative profiles are usually more attractive than the one liners or fill in later. Also get known in chat and on forums could attract more interest than just blindly sending out random messages |
