My son is heading to his dad's for a week which leaves me at a loose end. Not keen on spending a whole week by myself at home. Was thinking off heading away for a few days. Has to be cheap. Any suggestions?  |

North Antrim coast,perhaps too close to home,though it is beautiful.May I suggest you head west to enniskillen,or perhaps further west,Sligo.
The garden of Ireland,co wicklow is stunning,bray on the coast a as good a base as any.
Or maybe you prefer warmer climes,try sunshine dot co dot UK,for cheap last minute getaways to the sun.

Seriously though, have you thought of getting a cheapo flight somewhere? With a bit of searching and a " don't care where" mindset, you could get a week abroad for a couple of hundred |
