I grew up watching the Eurovision up until I was a teenager and it wasn't cool enough. I rediscovered it in my 20s. I just love the cheesiness, tackiness, campness and some songs are not even that bad!
Will you be watching? Do you have a favourite Eurovision song? |

It was a big thing in our house too sweet. I still love to watch it but I'm afraid I'm on my own in my house my kids have no interest at all. My fave song has to have been Johnny Logan - What's another year !! |

I believe this is the most beautiful of ballads ever presented in the history of the Eurovision competition, sung exquisitely.

I have childhood nightmares from that shite,it's a crime any parent would put their kids through that,lol.
However, I do believe that poxy turkey Dustin did it proud,it took the piss out of the competition just like all the singer do to us year in year out.

There are a few Eurovision parties in Dublin but only about 3 and they're already booked. Damn!

When the kids were younger we used to get friends and their kids around for the evening.
Started early with BBQ and garden games (oh the weather was so much nicer then!) , then in to the telly, lots of craic, slagging the acts, betting on the 'nil points'.

Holland was so good this year!
I'm very happy with Conchita winning, it was a good song and performance. And it's a kick into Russia's balls, so it's a very political vote I think. |
