If its touristy things your after there is so much choice. I always do something different every time I visit (and that's quite a few times a year)
If it's 'fun' you want, go to UK thread and ask I'm sure they'll be able to advise. |

if it's your first time around and you have only a day why not doing a hop on/hop off double decker tour - going full blast touristy! lol
that way you get a great introduction to all the sights.

Go to The Mullet Tavern in Greenford, I used to own it. Steve Doyle is the manager now but the place is a hidden gem with crazy low prices and plenty tasty ladies. |

Pop into putney to the Half moon for live music ( they have a website)
Get one of the river boats up the Thames Stop off at either the Tower or go on up to Greenwich
Any of the museums are worth going to. They all need loads of time, not just flying visits
I love the National Gallery. Always pop in when I'm home.
Take a walk up the south bank. Stop at the modern Tate. It's certainly different
Lots of stalls and street performers and little shops to see. There's a great one sells DVDs with some really obscure stuff
Cross the wibbly wobbly bridge to St Paul's
From there head into the city - Bank of England is worth a visit
Climb the monument
Get the free metro paper - lists what's on and where, or get a copy of What's On
Get an Oyster card for travel , very expensive to travel otherwise
The Jack the Ripper walking tours are supposed to be very good, as is the Camden pub crawl ( google both) |
