I haven't travelled outside of Europe. I intend to travel farther afield. I'd like to go and see wonderful places around the world and experience its many cultures. So, where is the most exotic inspiring place that you've been?

Spent 3 weeks there last January and was easily the best place Iv ever been. Jungle, beaches, islands, city's, palaces, got everything in one country. Stunning.

I've heard lots of good stories from SE Asia, i don't think I'd like the climate though, too humid.

For me NE/SW U.S./Canada.

I was just blown away by the size of the wilderness.

Ya if love to see Canada, supposed to be very expensive over there. Next on my to do list is Texas or some other south western state if America.

If I had the money in the morning I'd go back to South Island New Zealand, definitely the most amazing place Iv been but again a lot of money needed.

I actually lived next to the hobbit houses in motueka Nelson just before filming started. You can see them from the road on the way to the beach.

@goodhotfun, trail finders is your best place to go. The organise everything, get you free upgrades if you charm them a bit, transfers and piece of mind. Highly recommend them. Plus they can cut and chop the holiday plans to suit budgets.

I suppose my most exotic experience would be a Safari I did while in Kenya.

Travelled through the Holyland too and climbed Masada.

Covered most of Europe by now.

Toured the US.

But I'd love to visit Japan!!

That's on my 'to do' list!!

Have to say everything mentioned is in my head. I like my drives and had looked at Seattle to San Diego and Route 66...log cabin by a lake in the Canadian Rockies, really want to see Japan, grasslands of Africa. Nepal, Icelandic volcanoes and def a pure chill out in the Maldives. .

What did you all love about these places? Why have they all been so special to you?

Travel buddies can be great, but only the right person. Otherwise it usually ends in an argument.

I have travelled a lot on my own and quite enjoyed it. It took me out of my comfort zone and I met a lot of new people that way.

When you're travelling with someone you often stick to your own group.
