i am studying for exams next week having returned to education as a mature student
i am finding it difficult to study as in remembering everything
any tips or advice from anybody who has "been here done this"
please no comments about getting odd fab and study i am taking a break
serious replies to this 1 would be really appreciated |

I always find writing things down helps.
Lists with clear bullet points. Probably sounds stupid but always worked for me when reading something. By writing it down it's gone into your brain more cos you've read it and written it rather than just reading it? |

That's true... by writing it down... and also by saying it out loud and you are writing it.. help a lot to remember. |

There's a few things you could do...
Write key points...dates names info onto post-its stick them all over ur house on the walls... then they are easily available at any time.
Another is to visualise the whole thing. Our brain works visually.. ul remember it better.
I don't know what u r studying but let's say it was French history..and wanted to remember everything about Napoleon.. so in ur story in ur mind.. u r Napoleon... so u visualise his whole life..start to finish..dates..key moments.
You need to do this over n over again.. repetition is the key to learn anything.
But visualisation does work.
