I always find writing things down helps.

Lists with clear bullet points. Probably sounds stupid but always worked for me when reading something. By writing it down it's gone into your brain more cos you've read it and written it rather than just reading it?

That's true... by writing it down... and also by saying it out loud and you are writing it.. help a lot to remember.

There's a few things you could do...

Write key points...dates names info onto post-its stick them all over ur house on the walls... then they are easily available at any time.

Another is to visualise the whole thing. Our brain works visually.. ul remember it better.

I don't know what u r studying but let's say it was French history..and wanted to remember everything about Napoleon.. so in ur story in ur mind.. u r Napoleon... so u visualise his whole life..start to finish..dates..key moments.

You need to do this over n over again.. repetition is the key to learn anything.

But visualisation does work.

Good luck

Oh one more thing...

Record what you want to learn.. and play it back each Nite you go to sleep.

Subconsciously ur brain will pick some of it up.

Repetition... ok

If your exams are next week - then do a few full test papers and compare answers to model. it wil help with timing and tell you where you are at.
