One of the best deals I bought there was probably a shredder and a cute t-shirt

Genuine question! What foods are very nice out of lidl? I very seldom shop there

Reply privately, Reply in forum +quote or View forums list

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

pretty much everything KS... even the fresh fruit/vegetables are nicer than Tesco's. The dairy section is amazing and all the continental meats and sausages. I think it's great value for great quality.

Now German chocolate is not the best but it's still better than most, you just pay half of the price compared to other shops

i shop a lot in aldi! Are aldi and lidl very similar?

yeah I think they're very similar. But I think it depends how large the shops are.

I mostly shop at Lidl though, I think it's a tad better... not sure what others think? Espcially the bread is better.

I get most of my fruit and veg from Lidl or the farmers market as we dont have aldi here. It much much better than either Tesco or asda. Tbh don't do a lot of shopping in Tesco anymore it's too expensive

I tried that but still ended up saving more shopping elsewhere. I get a lot of my tinned and dried goods in home bargains, meat at a butcher's and then fruit and veg in Lidl or market and it works out cheaper and I find I get better quality stuff
