I have no problem starting up a conversation with a girl I find attractive. It covers a multitude, as you probably know, and there are some women who, as you say, will start a conversation, but they are in the minority, for sure, I wish it were different, but I can say in the majority of cases, a WOMAN will not start up the conversation. Maybe it is a confidence thing and the fact that "it is not the done thing" syndrome. I do wish it were different. But it never puts me off, if I see someone I like, no matter where, the pub, the car park, the supermarket, wherever, I will start up the conversation!!
