Just wondering anyone else fed up....a post goes up...you write something halfway intelligent and it turns into a conversation with the usuals...all wanting to shag each other...there are other people who want to chat to about the topics posted. ...maybe i should open up my own forum for all us rejects haha...and yes i have the balls to write this post because its the Truth....and im a fiesty woman...who likes great sex and a dam good coversation!!

true but u dont want to go into a thread that interests you and all if a sudden u have a few chatting amongst themselfs and u trying to keep up with the topic at hand but dozens of posts are taking up the thread and by the time u post something about the original topic it ends down the bottom in the middle if a convo about something else , that a main reason we dont post to much as it would just get ignored and lost

Tbh think as Donegal legs, sorry can't rem profile name! said above it is a lot to do with participating. Yes threads can sometimes go off on one n rem one I apologised to OP for this involving legs as touched on something we both could laugh about. Wasn't trying to get a shag just was having a laugh n that's what this should be about on such a site. Please people the more the merrier as I keep posting as it's a bit of craic n who cares if there are groups on here, not me!

There is an awful lot of people on the forums interlinked to each other! What do I mean by that? U can see by posts they get on really well, then they have their own lite chat on a thread! Also u can see certain foke on forum who would never disagree with each other and literally lick the arses off each other on all topics and at all times! Just my IMO from looking in

Threads to and fro same as most conversations in any pub yes there some that post a lot and it may seem that they enter their own convos mid thread but what about it any serious thread gets aired we are entitled to add to it as much as a first time poster

what i cant understand is how do u know ur being ignored is it that ur post isn't quoted and replied to sometimes that can happen i usually quote when replying it makes sure the person that posted knows ur replying to them

I find my views often differ with the majority on here, therefore usually it is ignored, no biggie though, as nippy says, what you say is still there for others to read, if they choose to ignore it is still there for the many other site users who read but have the good sense not to post lol.

Lol...have read them all. ..yes i do read everyones opinion lol...thanks for the feed back...yes have to agree i talk away also..and post on most things ...never worried about giving my honest opinion as in the real world im very opinionated!!...its just ive spoke to a few who would like to be more involved in the forum but had the same opinion as me....just thought all these ones who want to shag should hire out a big room and get it over with lol...and feel bad for some of the blokes on here...some are twats dont get me wrong but some really get ripped to shreads...give everyone a chance...its an open forum afterall! !

Well I have commented on things in threads that went against the grain and got slated for it. The clique gang up very quick and back each other up but I never back down from what I post.

Other times in a serious thread it gets hijacked by silly stupid jokes, as in taking a post to mean something silly and trying to be the funny person.

Also knickers gets completely lambasted and told where to go and shut up when he starts a thread but in case folks didn't notice his threads get full very very quickly and some of those that stick in him can't hit 5 posts on a thread they start.

So your the 'man' knickers and don't forget it

There may be some seriously flawed logic in that. Having a thread that fills up quickly hardly makes you "the man" and posting something ridiculous that the majority disagrees with doesn't mean there's a clique working against you, or that you're automatically cool.

I (Mr) put up a similar post about this a few months back. Try the following with a thread:

1. Read the first post

2. Read a post about half way down

3. Read the most recent post

In most cases the thread has gone totally off topic. Now, we do like reading threads when the topic interests us and then get fed up by the usual "you're great, I'm great" posts that start to appear.

One young lad put up a post about dogging. A perfectly legitimate thead for a site of this nature. The "crowd" arrived in a turn it into a big joke. Whats the point in that. Either comment about dogging or move to the next thread. Simple really....

Anyway we dont see it changing so we just read the fist few posts of a thread and leave it at that.

i agree with op.......my pet hate is when a female says something sagestive that has nothing to do with the topic and all the males that are hopeing for a leg over answer at the same time drooling at the mouth it then turns into a conversation between them puts me right off its hard to witness such stupidity and desperation

Hard for the blokes on here i have to say...and i suppose not all of them are as cheeky as others...i am now seeing another side to this place after reading all these posts...as there are alot of men on here...they probably find it easier to chat with the females in the forum and flirt as in some cases messages dont get answered...as lets face it there are loads....

It can be annoying when you're in the middle of a on topic conversation and suddenly there are masses of off topic conversations in between. I sometimes lose interest then. But then again, I think anyone can be pulled into a conversation on the side and they don't even realise it at first. I prefer as well if a guy wants to talk to me only they can pm me. And some do. Or sometimes I pm them. But if there are suddenly 20 posts forth and back between two people off topic I can find it a bit tedious. .

As some said it just sometimes happens, as if you were in a pub with a group of friends... you all talk together but sometimes the topic changes or 2 people start talking about something else.

To the OP, my posts often get ignored or aren't quoted again. I just have to assume that I didn't write anything inspiring enough lol

I find this thread hilarious, This subject was brought up about 3 weeks ago and there are at least 6 people posting on this thread agreeing with the op who 3 weeks ago strenuously denied that there was a clique, Baa Baa, I just find it very insulting towards my intelligence when people just post something agreeing with people because they want to be popular, if ye are that afraid of falling foul of the popular crowd why bother post on the topic at all instead of the hypocritical posts 3 weeks apart.
