I went through the same thing man its more difficult to get meets being young. Just take it casually, chat away to people and it will eventually work out.
I'm personally on here to meet older women but I still went on nights out and pulled and all that which made the waiting on here less of an issue.
Some men get very frustrated on here because they pin their hopes solely on the site.
