I know the UK has a bigger population but there is so many more women on there than Ireland that want to meet single men, is this down to there acceptance of there sexuality or are we as a nation just shy about our sexuality |

Having returned from living in the UK I believe that the difference between the two is that in Ireland it's easier to be outed so people are afraid to get involved in the scene. In the UK you can lose yourself with it being so big and they don't have the same gossip culture as we do so people really don't give a shit what you do in your private life. Just my opinion |

i would say pro rata it is very similar, remember the population of n.ireland and the republic of ireland combined is approx 6million,whereas mainland uk about 60 million.in terms of clubs, yes we are well behind the times, but these things are changing and changing fast, certainly a lot faster in the last 10 years than it has in the last 50 years |

I disagree with the pro rata comparison, there's a much higher % of people in the UK looking to 'swing'. Yes, it's changing here, slowly but changing. |

maybe admin could furnish us with the number of uk members and the number of ireland members, then its just a simple maths equation
i dont know the figures but at a guess i would say pro rata fairly similar |

Looked at 'online number', it says nearly 15000. In just Ireland there are less than 400. |

then based on those figures o.009% of ireland are swingers, compared to 0.025% in uk,so no as close as i thought |

I can't do %s so I divided 15000 by 400, doesn't that mean there are 37 times more peeps on from elsewhere?

i was looking at percentages that were swingers based on the approx figures.
400 ireland members divided by approx 4.5million population gives 0.09% swingers
15000 uk members divided by approx 60million population,gives 0.025% swingers |
