What do you consider is a genuine verification for any profile here? From the aspect of people we don't know ,nor have ever met, contacting us we just have no time for hidden veris or cam veris profiles ....

I think it speaks volumes much more on here, that a woman whose here 5 months or more with no veri then a man in the same situation! overal tho in realtion to new people signing up here and the regulars! the regulars in the vast majority are to hung up on a person been verified! Why not chat and make your own mind and not get hung up on a meet veri? Just my view on the situation |

Well I am glad this topic came up, I for one (on my second visit to this site) refuse to get verified this time round, it is my one stipulation to people i meet, I don't want a medal, i don't want people to know who i met and i certainly don't want the whole site to know what went on. Any body can get verified without even meeting someone, people hand them out like 2c sweets and they don't mean a fuckin thing, however i can prove that you can get on fine here without them |

we would give someone who is local a chance for a coffee meet who wasnt verified but defo wouldnt travel far for someone who wasnt verified , not gona take that chance especially if they on near to a year or so  |

Veris are usefull in that they say yes this person is what they proclaim on their profile and they actually turn up other than that i don't need to know
i keep mine hidden due to mail asking stupid questions about who i have met. But i do show the veri summary at least then potential meets can see when i last had a meet or the mix of people i meet and yes there's one from a male u do meet males at party's and such  |

When we get mails from unverified profiles we tell them to go get verified and come back to us, or we offer to verify them. They almost always never come back or give reasons why they can't be verified right now...
....I wonder why that is?  |

Definitely I would have no interest in meeting anyone based on just chatting through here alone it is impossible to tell through text or even a coffee meet if you are going to be safe alone with that person |

I have to agree with the pic veris i done mine within an hr of joining it means nothing other than ur willing to get ur kit off in front of a mirror
i always show my veris to a meet in the run up even if its coffee then at least if there's a mutual friend she or they have a chance to ask is this fecker for real |

As crazy couple said, the only thing i think is necessary is to say they turned up and more importantly that they look like they do in their pics. Sometimes though too much emphasis can be placed on verifications especially with new members as they are mot the only ones that don't turn up |

I agree. Regarding safety I take my time chatting because usually they'll slip up eventually and show true colours. So far so good, my instincts have been correct. |

meet&greets are not "group meets" they are a social event for like minded people to meet up and have a no pressure drink and a chat , put names to faces etc , we live in Cork and have traveled all over for meets and greets to places like Dublin , Galway , Limerick , Waterford , they are defo worth the road trip , slot of younger guys think that theu are a gruop sex orgy but they are not |

I for one have met lots of people on here, and everytime I have asked them to please not verify me. I think its only for peoples egos at this stage, and it really puts me off if I see a girl with lots of them on her profile. Its like rating hookers and gigolos at times. If people want to take the time to get to know me, meet in a public place for a coffee, that's good enough for me. Sorry for the rant, but its something I feel strongly about, im confident in myself and my own ability, I don't need everyone knowing how good I might be at this or that, leave a little mystery for gods sake. Rant over phew.... |

We wanted verifications to prove we're a genuine profile. I think we have enough proof now so I doubt we'll be looking for any more. We don't go in for graphic veris either.
In our opinion a non verified profile lacks credibility. |

I'm sorry but I've just cracked up. How on earth does what someone else has written about someone you are thinking of meeting translate into it being safer. I really really don't get it. I don't give a fig about veris I use my own instincts, I trust them far more than I trust the words of a complete stranger. |

When it comes down to it there is no single method for proving someone is genuine. Verifications are just part of the toolbox that can be used to determine the suitability of a prospective meet. It's not the be all and end all. They are there. Use them or don't, the choice is yours.
Only one of my verifications is a non social one. The rest have all come from meet & greets and coffee meets. Hopefully they tell people I'm a cool guy who turns up when he says he will. Nothing else is really needed.. |

at the end of the day to many people on here get hung up on veris! everything is not gonna fall into place for u on this site before u meet somebody! IMO you have to take risks! Yes, at the end of the day most lads in their 20's are here for one reason, something that seems to put a lot of people off |
