I never use the option very much but today while I was out having a meal I switched it on. Two people came up within half a mile. .
I switched it off fairly quick.
But everyone I then noticed with a mobile I was thinking is it you or you it you!!!

Lol I thought I was in a fairly remote place working on Friday but to told me there was someone within half a mile of me. He must live in a cave cause I was on the roof and couldn't see another house for miles |

and as said it's not very accurate so it's not like they know exactly where you are
But obviously if you're in a huge field and it says someone is withing a half mile radius you may want to check who's hiding in the bushes  |

It uses the GPS on your phone to get your location. So if you use it you should make sure that your phone GPS is showing your current location. And that goes for everybody. So for example if your GPS is only showing a past location it could be telling you that you are a half mile from somebody when in fact you could be thee counties away. And even if your GPS is correct the other people's GPS might not be so it is often hit and miss. But you can sometimes find random people in your area that normally wouldn't be There, with happy results. |

I travel the county every day so i use it regular and have made a few friends from mailing a quick msg some have be came good friends also around parties more noseiness than anything have found a good few have one town on their profile but when passing trough another no matter what time of day or night they seem to be within a half mile love when i go out side my area to see all the locals or traveling to a meet to tell the person switch it on builds the excitement as u get nearer

I have my phone working properly now, must just give it a try again - although I don't think there are that many around here, last time I used it I think it was 30 miles or so but I live in hope  |
