Tensions seem to be rising here day on day with the past two weeks
Everyone is snapping at people and the fun is going out of the thread
A lot of meet and greets and parties planned for this year so far..hope it doesn't flow over to those nights

i don't know mate..... seems to me that while there is plenty of disagreeing .....people can move past and get on(kinda)....better than before.....just my opinion though  |

I know that but every post with the last week or so has gone off the topic in hand and turned into one big disagreement
I'm not saying everyone should be of the same opinion either but sometimes it's best to agree to disagree without the slagging match

I think alls good now.
If anything the last week or so has helped me wean out the bitter/nasty folk here.
The majority are Top Class & we'll all disagree obviously. There's alot of testosterone flying about. It's natural.

There is nothing wrong with healthy debate. You can still carry on a conversation and comment on a thread using the 'reply and quote' option. That's why it's there. Do you complain and think debate shows like Question Time is a show just to argue and raise tension? Debating is in the human make up. It's the beautiful thing that makes us all individual. If you look at it as a debate rather than slagging. You'll feel better.
Maybe someone can start a daily debate thread. Then you can avoid it. I guarantee though, you'll all have a nosey. |

I don't. I don't slag people. I wouldn't waste my time. I only engage in debate if someone attempts to steam roll a conversation or ignorantly disregard something I have said or someone else has said. In the end. Afterward I hold no grudges.  |

Prime example. Jack and I had a lively debate a couple of days ago. Done and dusted. You don't see us pouncing on each others comments at every opportunity. We can work away on here as normal and enjoy the craic. Would you concur Jack? |

Once again i say I think I have been taken up wrong. I wasn't taking things personal. I just replied how i saw it. If I replied and quoted to a post is was more then likely I actually agreed to
Most if what was being said

I have a friend who I used to call him jerry but he has an awful stutter (his real name is Paul) jerry was a nickname..
One night while out in the pub someone asked him "why does he call you jerry?"
