Get a ball and go to the gable of your house and kick it as hard as ya can repeatedly until ya feel better

Works for me

sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

There are many things you can try, but everyone is different and some things work for some but not others.

Are you exercising enough? As said above this can help.

Besides this, you can try meditation, breathing exercises etc.

I have been doing progressive muscle relaxation and it's been working a treat for me. If you're interested I can PM you a link on youtube

Yes try to take half an hour each day to unwind. Put on some soft music, nature sounds or mood music is good and just lie on the ground and start at your feet and tighten your toes and feet and relax them and work up your body doing the same thing until you feel totally relaxed. Just lie there and think about the things you have accomplished that day and feel proud you will feel the stress slide away

Hi, went through this a few years ago and found that lots of fresh air and walking helped. During this time think about everything causing stress and sometimes solutions come....

Then talk about whatever is stressing as this normally lightens the load and can even seem not so bad after all.

sleep and proper food are critical. Exercise and fresh air deffo helps with the sleep.

One point is that if things that are outside your control that cause u stress then u have to realise that you can not change these so therefore don't let them stress you.

Nature, exercise, relaxation time & good food are the keys

Ok.im no professional but...as said medation at the start of the day is great...its like the snooze button on your alarm feels like the 5 minute sleep u get out of the snooze has been more than u got all nite

But I think number 1 should be to talk to somebody...nearest a dearest are cheapest but councellors are great too.......dont pile one problem ontop of another cause soon it will be a wall u cant see around...and remember sharing is caring...you might find talking to someone might also help them...

Think positive...remember Anything is possible...

Hi Deisecple - sorry to hear you are feeling stressed. I think it's been touched on here already by Gannet and others - but meditation is an absolute game-changer in respect of stress. There are many different forms out there. I have been practicing meditation for the last 3 years and it's incredible. Melts away stress, makes you way more calm, focussed and strengthens your physical and nervous system and your soul. Your relationship with the world changes - you gain more perspective and control over it and you are less bothered with the bullshit of life.Part of the reason you are stressed out is because the problems seem like a much bigger deal. If you meditate regularly, you find that your mind has much more control over the outside world - not the other way round. You will find that problems remain problems - but they feel less overwhelming and you are much more able to deal with them in an attentive way.

I would be wary of smashing things up as a remedy - or any kind of violence - anger causes more stress and creates an "us & them" siege mentality against the world where you are the raging victim for all time

Sure you need some anger to focus some times but it's not good for stress.......aside from meditating - try avoiding booze/caffeine/medication and go swimming/running/cycling...get out of the house a bit more and do things that you enjoy. It's your life and you own it ! Best of luck !
