Irregular shifts affecting my mojo

Jump to: Newest in thread

My irregular shifts are kind of bringing me down at the moment. I find it really hard to keep the work/life balance when I have to change sleeping, eating times etc so often.

I guess especially when I work late.... it takes a few hours to wind down and being able to sleep, which means I will sleep to late to do much in the mornings.

It's kind of affecting my mojo now... my libido has gone down a bit I think.

Has anyone else weird shifts and how do they manage?

God can I not relate to this tread very easily! As I work in a bar you can imagine weekends are a real killer! I'm working when it's time for everyone else to party, then I have weekdays and nights off when people work! Some have fucked up hours, I have fucked up days!

Women say they can only do weekday meets and not weekends - sounds like heaven to me, now find the gate to get into heaven!! Lol

I meant a bit of walking or something like that just to get out in the fresh air and clear your head can lift your mood.

Depending on shift pattern it's hard to get a routine going. I'm lucky only do 2 nights in a row so it's easy to get back to a normal sleep pattern it's just like 2 late nights out. Have done longer runs of nights and that's very hard to recover from. Week of nights would kill me now luckily health and safety says that's a non runner
