of course they are but that's not answering my question! If I came in here with a list as long as my arm in relation to what I'm looking for and someone said to me 'jeez you are very fussy ain't ya?' I'd totally understand where there coming from |

None taken, and not really. We don't suffer fools and if we receive a message like this:
"Hi dear we saw ur profile n tink ur really hot, wann chat sumtym?"
We'll reply (if we think the profile is ok) with
"Sure but lose the text speak"
If they do, fine. If they don't then we think they can't be arsed making an effort.
And I don't buy the "I'm on a phone" excuse. I'm posting this from a phone right now. |

Yes but they are entitled to be as fussy or not as so wish. Though obviously their fussiness will reflect the number of meets they have,but then some prefer quality rather than quantity |

fair enough! The only time I'd judge text speak is if the whole message is txt speak and I havnt a clue what there saying! Like I think to myself why should I judge somebody on a bit of txt speak! |

I normally answer all messages but the content of my reply is based on the message I get plus what I read in their profile ie are they verified, can I see their verifications, are they attached, can they accomadate, do they have a sense of humour, do they seem like they can hold a conversation, does it seem like we like the same things sexually and of course any nice hot pics esp teasing pics ...yum yum  . Thats my tuppence worth  |

I'm the same if the overall message (if I can understand what they're saying with text speak) and their profile is appealing, I would try and get to know them more. Same as others I have asked them to write normally and if they didn't and it continues to cause misunderstandings I give up and don't reply anymore.
And I repeat again, because knickersoaker, you keep on dissecting whatever I say: Writing style is one part of the whole picture If the profile is great and the content of message and pics, I will reply.
Generally I always reply anyway, even to say I'm not interested. |
