Hello fellow fabbers!!!! I have a question and would appreciate a few thoughts on my chosen subject!!! Is it possible to retract a verification once written and sent? Other than hoping said person deletes their profile!!!

Only way I think to take back the verification is to block the person in question.

Nope that doesn't work. If they delete their profile.

The fact that you verified someone and regret it worries me. Hope you didn't verify a fake.

My town

Suppose if they have never been verified they still get to keep the green tick just lose the actual verify if u block them.

and if they show the summary that still stays too.

Yep you're right there...

Blocking removes the verification given, but the tick will remain

I've thought about that one too Moca.

Most verifs are given when you're on a high after a meet.

I only give a verif if I'm asked (cos I don't expect one myself) and then it's a couple of days later when things have cooled down and you can write sensibly and truthfully.

X

If you have met and then verified. Would it not be a bit selfish to expect someone to delete it as you have changed your mind?

What would make a person change their opinion??

We all say things in the heat of the moment and while it might reflect some truth about that event, the person you verified may since have turned into someone not so nice.

We've all been there where we had a good time and decided to leave a veri, and then we don't get one back, or you find yourself being ignored by that person. .. or you find out that they have been bad mouthing you for whatever reason...

Best thing is to just block em and move on..

exactly, mostly I have left veris within a day after the meet. But sometimes the behaviour of the person completely changed and puts you off big time. So I may have written "don't miss out" or "looking forrward to next time" .. but this is no longer true.

Can u ever have too many verifieds just I've been told they wouldn't go near someone that has been with someone that has too many verifieds

Think it depends on what the verifications say!! Lots of us have a good few veri's but they are for coffee and social meets rather then just sex meets!! I don't understand people who say he/she has too many veri's, like what are they here for then??

I think even if we're on this site we are still sometimes judging people who have a lot of meets. Some probably assume because they meet so many people they are 'not clean' and therefore dont' want to go there. Not sure.

So if a woman had 25 verifications from different men within 3 months... would you think less of her? Would women meet a man who has been with that woman? Seems some are not.

for a lad that's had the raw end of the stick lately.....that's pretty judgmental

Dublin West

I tend not to verify people or expect one from them. I like to keep my personal life personal and leave it between me and the person that I have met that we have met.

It's all on a need to know basis and most people just don't need to know.

It probably means that it's harder for me to meet someone new but if it's ment to be it will be.

Have never left a verification that I felt I wanted to remove later on.
