Use the credit union for deposits and sub accounts,cheap cheerful with better interest and most offer online banking now
Banks are offering little at present in terms of deposit interest and serious fees |

I am seriously thinking of handing the household budget over to my teenagers
here is the bills and the money to pay them when they realise they don't add up they might think before they leave every light in the house on and put a single item in to the washer then the drier
either that or we will have takeout for the first week and beans on toast for the rest of the month  |

Stopped using dishwasher. Hand wash.
Stopped using dryer. Bougt clothes horse
Stopped being a taxi service for kids when they can easily walk
Stopped using car for short journeys. Walk instead.
Cut back on takeaway. Only once a week. |

i started throwing all my loose change into any empty roses tin a few months ago and i counted it the other day and i had €147.82 ,i was chuffed  |

Same here. I throw my change everyday into a jar. It's suprising how quickly it mounts up |

Cook extra, and freeze. Plan ahead and you may laugh I did when I was told. I wrote down each night of the week what was for dinner each night.
Bought according to the list and only on the list and you will save. You will be surprised. After you de done the list check to make sure u don't have what u want in the freezer / or presses.
