Good advise from Hotguy..
Most attending will are usually up for a good time, and it can be great if you can go with the flow, but don't feel pressurized.

Just been to my first party last week. My only goal was to socialise, and make new friends. All that did happen. As I didn't know anybody I approached a few people beforehand online that were also going. See forums. So when I entered the Venue at least I saw some familiar Fab faces! Have fun! |

I have been to a few and the nerves before hand are serious but when you get there just enjoy it and there is never ever any pressure to do anything if you don't want to no means no but fun is fun   |

Well if there is any advise I could give you is that i (L) was so nervous going to our first party when we went to our first party at the venue, we meet people in the hotel bar before hand (Carlton).
It took the nerves away straightaway. Made me totally relax and we had a Fab time at the party.
And best thing is you dont go in alone, and you know some people then.
Cant wait for the next one.. |

First and foremost it's a party like any other and if you meet ppl you feel comfortable then the choice is yours to take things further I (Chriss)have never felt any pressure to play but I agree wit Annie drink very slow and enjoy cause that's what it's about |

it is all good advice.
I would say its ok to have a few drinks but not too much, i have seen a few people go too far down that road and it didnt work out too well at the party.
chat to a few people when you arrive and you will quickly get comfortable.
If things are not what you want; just remember it is ok to say NO.
And after that just relax and enjoy yourself |
