I never know what that meant the term shifting. Someone said to me I shifted them I said where u move to them too.

We I was raised it was I got off with him.

Pmsl, that's funny. For the record we used both in Limerick. Personally though when I was in secondary school it was he shifted her or she got off with him. Never I shifted her or I got off with her;( lol made up for it in college though ha

Did the term "shifting" mean the same in every county though? I grew up in Donegal and there it ment kissing with tongues and slipping the finger..

It would of been Polldarks or the park in the parkway back in the day if I remember correctly . My teenager goes to these things called the energiser and other mad electronic sounding names;) won't be long till she's going to the real deal though ;( down with that sort of thing lol

Preferably wait until a Sunday morning and suddenly discover religion so that you have to drag yer arse, and his, to mass. Even if ye never go.
