Sofiabell - many thanks for that.....I would love to meet whomever for a coffee....no harm done and if nothing more is to come of it then its simply a coffee and we can all be civil for the time it takes to drink a coffee
(of course if one person proceeds to scald themselves trying to drink it quickly then I guess that could be telling too  ) |

Im seeing a couple of comments here n forum from people saying sorry they cannot meet patner coz too far away. Please contact patner first as ye mite be able to meet halfway or better still they mite be able to travel to ye. It wud be polite at the very least.
otherwise ye really have just wasting poor hughs time and effort with organising all of this and everyone elses.

totally agree , everyone knows the distance between north and south and have to say that it can be far , ffs ye know that before ye put yer names , if cant travel or dont want to travel or at least meet half way , dont bother putting yer names in , the op has put alot of time and effort into this , no point in wasting his time and there member that was picked to meet as they now may have lost out and they we willing to travel , really not fair on them |

You don't have to meet your SS
If distance is a problem so be it.
Still contact them and form a friendship with them.
You now have a connection w/someone(If you believe in fate then it was meant for you to be drawn with that person)

I disagree with this statement. Do you ever take in to consideration that mabeypeople cant affored to take time off work and also mabey they did asked for a locally enough meet. We have no problem travel to limerick or cork but thats it. Whats the point in wasting the other person time when its not going to happen. It isnt fair on them.  |

there is 365 days in the year. Thats the whole idea of the ss, u dont no who ur meeting and u cant be guarenteened a local meet. Everyone knew that before they put there names down. We would have loved to got someone local but we didnt but were still going to make the effort and meet him. If people only want a local meet maybe we should just set up a province ss as in munster, ulster , lenister and connacht |
