haha johnny cash is a ledgend to a lot of people
the county and western that rots me is the type they show on TnaG. big stetsons, cheesy grins and cheesier dance moves. but its massive in ireland???? |

I believe there's a tv channel promoting this dirge... Normally featuring someone with a 70s haircut and dressed by oxfam crooning in a country lane or by a river surrounded by livestock. It's hilarious when you're pissed mind you |

Lord Jaysus I'd do without a ride if It meant I had to sit Through Nathan Carter, Mick Flavin or other assorted nimrods before we got to the action..not to mention the state of some that go to those things.....walked into a dance by accident one night and thought I was at a lumberjack convention with the amount of plaid shirts on show.
On a side note.. the combination of happy shiny didly-sum music with a droning narrative of 'My wife left me and The livestock all died(add depression inducing scenario of choice here)...really wrecks my head, they all plagiarise the shite out of songs already done to death and irrespective of the miserable subject matter sing with a misled happy demeanor almost as if they are unaware what the hell they are singing( you can see I really do Dispise Irish Country and Western Music)..At least when you Listen to Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson you half believe the strife they talk about.  |

99% of the single guys on here would be almost guaranteed to get laid if they took up C&W dancing, Set-dancing or even better; Salsa dancing. Way more sex in those scenes than in the so called Swinging scene. All dance classes are top heavy with women  and gagging for men. |

I dont doubt those stats at all, I know a few mates non swing types who regular frequent the C and w scene purely for the high scoring potential...the same guys wouldnt have the most stringent of Quality control procedures though..... |
