Ok so this is the Betty’s social meet thread
This is going to be quite a long post so please read it all the way thru
Firstly let me say it’s a social meet just like if people who support a football team r play world of war craft etc were 2 meet r like cb'ers do 2 eyeball each other
It’s a chance for people to get together say hello meet old and new friends and have a drink and say hi
So ok I hear u say this is swingers meeting
Yes it’s a social meet 4 people who swing.
There's No Playing at the meet it’s all about meeting with no pressure and getting to know people
It’s not a knocking shop or a pick up joint
There will b as best a mix of attendees as we can manage
What sort of mix insofar as couples, single guys an single girls is firstly dependant on u folk who wish come along
We will try to balance the mix as best we can and dependant on the suitability of the venue
If you aren’t able to attended an social because of location, date etc there will be other so don’t panic
There will be rules to ensure that all feel safe and secure
One rule for example is no mention of venues or possible venues in open forum or in chat there is an ban and block option so folks be discrete and sensible PM's are the excepted way to communicate info
So now it’s time for all you folk to help us make the socials happen and be an enjoyable experience for all of us and to make the work of organising easier for us
We would like to have the social night be rotated round different locations around the country each month
This is so that folk don’t always have to do a long trip every time we will always have a fallback location in mind so if there not enough to make a location or difficulties re numbers we can have options
Suitable venues are –Bars or Hotels with lounges that offer some degree of being able to have a space that a group of people can sit together in relative peace and quiet an chat and not be stuck in the middle of the regular users of the place use your best judgment you know what the places in your area are like
It’s also important that there is reasonably priced accommodation near the venue for folk that may want it and reasonably priced restaurants
If there is music i.e. bands D jay etc that’s always good some folk like to boogie and we can look at rock night’s country and western night’s etc
So we would like to hear from you if you know of a suitable venue anywhere near you
We will meet with you at the suggested venue if possible to check it out or go for a look see ourselves or canvas others who might know the location
NO LOCATIONS TO BE MENTIONED IN OPEN REPLY IN THIS THREAD OR IN CHAT PM TO ME AND OR BETTY
And no telling me that Betty said this or that to me or vice versa guys me and Betty chat a lot
As to the day of the week type of music you might like the venue to have etc post your thoughts here on the thread
It may be a possibility that we try to have a big all Ireland bash at a camp/ caravan site once a year to or summer BBQ or beach socials in the summer
So hope this is enough for now more later as and when needed looking forward to getting your input

folks were thinking about the week after Easter for the next social thought being many folks may have plans 4 the easter week an other commitments

We are thinking it might be good if some single girls and guys escorted one another to socials so as to help keep numbers even etc.
Although this doesn’t mean they will be seen as couples nor of course should it carry any connotations or expectations
let us know if this is something that people can do and your details as well
We will be giving the town or city the meet is in first so people can make travel arrangements to be in the town of the meet have or accommodations arranged in advance etc.
The exact venue will only be given to attendees a few days before the event to keep it discrete and also so we are not tracked by lukers etc.
We will also be putting in place a way 4 single ladies to be met by someone to escort them into the venue if they wish
We will be posting more info as details are finalised.
Once again a reminder that details are to be communicated via PM to the bettys social profile

Further to the above I on almost all occasions attend socials and such as a single male.
Although we do try to have a balanced mix of couples, single guys and single girls, it is very dependent on the numbers of each seeking to attend.
This is the reason for the suggestion for single guys and girls escorting each other to socials so guys and girls get chatting and see if you can work something out.
Also to the single guys who are seeking to attend please do not take it as any slight if we can’t accommodate all of you at a social we are sure that you can appreciate the number of us there are. It’s just about numbers and as a single guy on Fab I know there are a lot of us.
Although we will try to give as many as we can a chance to attend it may be the case that there is a list of guys that rotates or something
Oh and PS
Any single girl or otherwise that wants to be my no connotations no expectations just an friend to go to the social with kind thing, pm me and lets work something out

As you can imagine we get loads of request for friends’ status etc
The only reason we use friends list an verification status is to have full functionality on site the Betty Social profile was set up for communication re the socials so the organizers would have their own mail boxes 4 their own use.
As a way of keeping an eye on update etc add us to your Hotlist and check the thread in Ireland forum on occasion

We do not display any verifications etc we respect your privacy and do not wish for the profile to be used to trawl for contacts

hiya every one we are thinking of heading to dublin this month to join up with some people having a meet and greet there. Lets us know if you are interested so we can sort out traveling down We could maybe hire a mini bus or we could all travel on the train an party on the way

all seems alot of info details etc and having balanced amount of couples to singles if its just a social meet no funny stuff, why not make a date and a venue and if people want to go see what the number's are like if its a decent ammount then it go's ahead just keep the place where the meet wil be held abit like antrims post..
and i did say before about a camping weekend and bbq etc so that will take people to pull there weight with cars giving lifts to those who cant drive, and as far as im aware its not cheap to rent out a caravan and im sure not everyone has tents if it was a proper camping weekend |

not sure what your getting at ryan this was bumped as an assit to the meet and greet thread after some questions were asked in the chat room re numbers,single guys discretion etc not about the meet and greet itself |
