the obviously fake profile was one of the hot bisexual minx types with a pic nicked off a porn site and "she" put up on her status "mr ________ you're a great swinger and thanks for the accomodation in your hotel". I googled his name and he's verrrry high profile killarney man, i was about to report it when it all vanished anyway. Disgraceful, dangerous stuff.
What we need is a very private, invitation only website. If we were still really bothered about swinging I'd probably run it but I don't think we have the numbers to support such a venture here. |

Agreed, There has to be some control, what annoys me now is that with the web name published you will have even more eejits joining for a snoop. I have always maintained that there should be a membership for single guys. You should not be able to join a site like this simply by thinking up a fake name and email. |

You get what you pay for and this site is free. Work it out yourself. You'll always have eejits and journalists snooping. These sites work (make money) by using the genuine couples as bait to lure zillions of desperate males, and for free couples get to connect with each other. You have to accept it being open to abuse or go somewhere else as it's free. We still actually think it's the best site and the only one we are on now, but the whole internet scene is getting so dodgy we're always on the verge of packing it in and just going for a "Spicey" holiday in Lanzarote sometime.  |

Totally agree - no matter what you do some eejit will slip by, on this site there is plenty of self regulation and expertise to manage the fakers and assholes, but we must remain alert

I pay (sort of) by using the supporter pass, I mistakenly took it as a membership fee but am happy enough paying it even though I am not here that often (average of 10 minutes a day sometimes) I also sent in a photo to be verified and again thought that would mean some people might take me seriously (nope) I still get questions now and again if my profile is real 
But I would agree some form of locking the place down would be the way to go, I'm sure the admins have thought about it, but again what's to stop some malicious person spending a few quid to make a fake profile - what price would you need to put on the site, and then that would probably drive away a lot of decent folk.
Journalists need to sell papers otherwise they would have no job, I've lost count of the number of stories that turn out to be fake these days, lazy reporting being the main reason - it's on facebook so it's true
I've looked at other sites, and this remains head and shoulders above them, most seem only interested in making you pay more money to see more pictures or whatever and some of the charges are nothing short of robbery - one even wants you to pay to read messages from other members that I imagine turn out to be auto generated, I make that assumption as one site I joined last year sent me 4 "messages" within an hour of me joining and before I had even filled in my profile  |
