I quite liked the langoleers , dunno if that's spelt right. The shining was very good. Also misery. One of his best was the green mile his newest joyland wasn't that great.

Not exactly horror but The Shawshank Redemption is about the only film I can think of that truly lived up to the book. Watchmen was a far better effort than I expected though, thumbs up.

The Shining film easily outshines the book but then again Kubrick made plenty of changes.
