"Is it the same clique that always chat here??
Define clique for me, because I'm here pretty regularly, but I'm not part of a clique that I'm aware of. "
Same goes for me ... I'll chat to anyone |

i got to both, chatroom and forum and the nature of the beast is that anyone who spends thie in either gets a feel for the other regulars...but thats the way all things work and if u dont immediately take to it its called a clique...it aint...its up to urself to decide whether its for you or not and make the effort...but if ur chat say hello folks..sometimes its that simple |

What clique would that be cause there seems to be a lot of them around lately
the seriously intellectual
the don't deviate from the original post
the who's wants a fuck
the get married men
or
those who just wanta have fun
the habitual posters
cliques
since i go in to both fourms and chat i just cant decide which one to join
or is it as stated above u just get a feel for people and seems like its easier to join in |

We're relative newcomers and I can honestly say the Ireland Chat Room is in no way a clique.
Like anywhere or any other social situation, the more you are there the more you understand the nuances and personalities. Obviously if you come in and start "pm'img" people with "fancy a fuck?" your opportunities to have a laugh are going to be very limited - we work from the old adage "if you wouldn't say it in real life, don't say it to another person in a chatroom". Respect and courtesy costs nothing and does not interfere with having a great laugh.
But to finish, we've never felt like interlopers. Met a couple from the room and hope to meet more over the next few weeks!! |

No way is the Ireland Chat room cliquey.
It's just people know each other through meets, socials or just in the room.
I can understand sometimes how it can hard to get a look in on there but I think it's generally a friendly bunch in there |

have to disagree there a bit with you , i ( mrs here ) used to go in chat room when first joined , tried to "fit in and engage in chat " with very little sucess even thou i used to be on cam too , a few would just say hello and that would be it , i would try and join in the conversation but i eventually got sick of trying , and stopped going in chat ,
So today i done a test for myself to see if anything changed , went into chat twice today , inthe morning and then again the the afternoon and even went on cam again , but hey , the same ol same ol , couldnt even get much as hello , the usual clique chatting away but i did get a hello from a guy who is in the UK , do in my opion the irish chat room is very cliquey , but they are nice people but keep to the usuals in there |

I have only started using the chat here recently and i have found it to be a friendly place to be honest. I'm on another site so i would know a few people in here too but most i dont so they are all new to me and i have found them to be both friendly and chatty.
Probably helps that i will talk to anyone about anything and yes as an outsider you see who is friends with who but thats always going to be the way.
Like everything, you will get out as much as you put in. People wont automatically just talk to you as its a two way street and when you are new you have to make more effort to get to know the people that already know each other.
The PM function and the lack of smilies suck but you cant have everything i suppose. |
