Have to seal it, or paint will just continually flake and look patchy....plenty of primers available. You can get away with sealing it, with a weak pva solution and then rub it over with a scotch pad, or wire wool....depends on the finish you are after. |

"Anybody know how to spray it ?"
I think I stayed in a hotel once with an MDF headboard. I seem to remember 'overshooting' and spraying it with some of my cum accidentally. I can't say much about the long term effect on the MDF itself but I know I had a fabulous time and the other 4 people in the room seemed to enjoy it too. Any help?? |

Probably not, I suspect, but a delightful anecdote nonetheless |

Is that from an economic point of view, or to do with quality? |

Use Becker Acroma woodfinishes, i would use a PC instead of a AC one which means you dont have to mix with a hardner. Spray the edges first, let dry then two or three coats on all surface sanding between coats.....You can buy what is call highbuild primer but i wouldnt waste my money. Hope this helps. |

50ltr compresser will be fine but will be constantly running, depends on how large the piece is.....let it cool down ..lmao.. PC enamel paint and get an ivory tint put through it if i was you, will come out like plastic, easy to spray and all but ye for paint you will have to primer, lacquer you will get away with out a primer to a degree. |
