Its near impossible for single lads to meet on FS,
is anyone interested in having a
singles night for Boys and Girls?
will single girls go?
should we bar couples from attending?

most meet and greets , like the one Domme and links hosted at the venue this weekend , have a cap on single males. mainly because single males have the most numbers and the most interest. usually its single males who are meet verified and active that get invited. the newer ones can find it harder |

there's a reason why invitations sent to single guys are done more carefully.
Let me tell you from experience that there is a good reason for this... most guys say they want to attend actually won't show up.
I naively organised a M&G once for everyone to attend who said they want to come. 10 guys said they come, 5 of them at least cancelled before. In the end NONE, yes NONE showed up. It was just me and 3 other girls.
Second time a girl and me organised just to meet for a few drinks and invited some guys along. 4 showed up, 4 no showed.
Maybe there's a reason why only verified people are invited.

Tis a bit of a catch 22, I would agree that m&g's are the best way to meet people on fab, but if you are a single guy you more than likely have to already be verified in meeting to get to one. That's why I think it's important to make yourself known on forums and chat by getting to know people that way first. |

I can't believe that guys would turn down any meets when its so difficult to get invites.
It could be that the guys who don't turn up are "fakers", I am fed up of getting mails from guys pretending to be Girls or part of a couple. |

well said jinxypie. It is a catch22. one on ones can be hard for unverified newbies to arrange. M and G's might be the best way to go. I was lucky as it was a single girl that introduced me to the scene 2 and a half years ago so I'd an instant verification. Been to many meet and greets and parties since then.
the key is firstly show up, then be respectful and chat to lots, after that see where the journey takes you!
As per the would i recommend a meet and greet for singles... not sure if the balance between the sexes would be right, couples often help with that balance i think. If everyone was single however it would get rid of the issue with couples and not knowing if they play with single guys (at a m and g you may not have read everyone's profile in advance). I'm never pushy with people so it can sometimes take time to figure that out for myself (which I don't mind, I'm more concerned with other people feeling awkward). Personally I'd prefer couples to be there |

It's very hard to organise a singles night.
I tried to do a girly one earlier this year and I'm glad in the end I let guys and couples attend. I know the single males are slated for no showing but the single fems can be just as bad.
Best of luck with it. Invite twice or more the number you actually want. |

Thanks Wilder and Links, Its great to hear from people who have arranged and attended m&g's and parties.
From comments I've read I would be reluctant to arrange a singles night, and I really need to get a meet verified my.self  |

I think if a single male or female organises a meet with whoever its bad form not to show up.
They should really think long a and hard before organising one and not just think on the spur of the moment with no intention of meeting.
But this is clearly what is happening the majority of the time |

I think a M&G would be a good idea, but maybe cap numbers of guys still? Maybe the very reason guys don't attend is because they believe it'll be a cockfest! |

We had a m&g last weekend and we had quite a few no shows from people that "confirmed" and caused others to miss out..
You just can never tell if people verified or not will turn up |

unless a disaster happens i believe if you say you will go to a meet and greet you go you cant let down the organiser after all they had the decency to invite you and someone else could of had your place when you never were going to go

Hi Nippy,
Yes I am Married like a lot of blokes on here, but I also know that there are also many Married women on Fab as well. My partner is not interested in "swinging" but I am and I am sure that like me there are others who are attached and would like to meet as a group for fun |
