I arrived in Ireland from the UK in the 90's with a broad Lancashire accent.
When I go back home they now tell me I've an Irish accent  |

Don't think there is a uk accent!! the south and north are so different almost a different language!! scouse is sexy as is Glasgow! as for the rest they are ok! and the Dublin accent oooohhh soo very sexy it fir me is the best and I am a northerner  |

I'm a Barnsley girl .. Born n bred, my dad worked as a fitter for 36 years down several South Yorkshire pits.
I'm very proud of my heritage/ accent . Order one of each at the chippy.. The language is still here. |

such arse...the uk is the sexiest accent...britain has a very diverse collection of accents and some of them are poles apart....its like comparing a scotish accent with a essex accent...you cant do that...who compiled this poll...as for ulster accent being included in the the poll...accents arent restricted by borders...a donegal accent and armagh accent are quiet differnt but both ulster accents and not solely exclusive to a uk labeling... |
