With the season kicking back in to action and the weather picking up thought I'd revisit something a few of us chatted about in passing a while back... a Fab group for boat owners on the Shannon.
No point in us passing each other by or being moored up on neighbouring berths and not knowing.
Just guaging interest... so if you own a boat and enjoy cruising the Shannon and want to mingle with like-minded people from Fab chime in here or DM with your:
1)Type/Make of boat and
2) Main cruising location on the Shannon ...and we'll see if we can form a group.

We have a boat near/ on Lough Ree but not sure we want to be specific about type or exact location etc. Happy to be in a group and not averse to swinging while on the Shannon either. Will think about it and chat to Sue but certainly open to a telegram or Kik group of Shannon boaters |

Great to hear from you - fellow shannon boaters. We'll see if we can get a few more like minded together and i'll set up a telegram group. Nice few days of late to be on the water for this time of year. I spend most of my time on the water between Athlone and Tarmonbarry around Lough Ree |

Hope people weren't put off by mentioning about type / make of boat and where you cruise. Just thought we'd know what areas we might see each other on the river.
But yes we can discuss these things in the group if and when ppl feel comfortable as I totally understand why ppl would be slow to share those details in the open forum. |
