Apart from the obvious things we discover in the opposite sex, what are the things you found and thought 'why have I never heard of/seen/had this before'
Mine is baklava. An Iraqi friend brought some to work one day. I was in my early 30's. Not a clue what it was. AMAZING |

Baklava is a shout to be fair. Gin is probably mine. Tasted it in my teens and thought it was vile stuff and never touched it again. Now I enjoy a wee sup. Drinking and enjoying it 2 years at most. |

I was 20 when I discovered that cheesecake was more than just cheese. I spent the next few years eating all the cheesecake I could lay my hands on to make up for it.
I had my current microwave for about five years when I discovered that I could press the number 5 button on the panel to get five minutes rather than having to press the start button ten times. |

My penis.
I went through the first year's of my life but realising what fun it could bring to me. The seemingly never ending supply of jizz was quite the revelation too. Jizz in the shower, jizz in the bath, jizz in the bed, jizz on the bed. It was a world of jizz for the first while! |

Mr here...
Great question.
Omelettes. Discovered them at age 43.
The permanently-exposed head of my penis. I made it to age 36 with a foreskin, then had to have it removed. Having enjoyed/endured the pros & cons of each state, I MUCH prefer circumcised.
Quality footwear. Once I was earning my own money (mid-/late-teens qualifies as adult, no?), I could buy Adidas Roms for example instead of the Gola equivalent I'd been wearing up till then.
I really like having quality shoes & boots. Not necessarily branded or expensive - just good quality. |

Sunbeds.. so much easier and safer to get a controlled tan before you go away . Then from say one you can strip down with no tan lines. Just pop on factor 50 , feel great and stop worrying about getting tanned or getting burnt.
And yes Automatic cars .. especially Mercedes |

Safer?
Given it’s daffodil day, a pertinent reminder from the Irish Cancer Soceity:
The World Health Organisation tells us that using a sunbed causes skin cancer
Even one sunbed session can increase your risk of developing squamous cell skin cancer by 67% and basal cell skin cancer by 29%.
Even more importantly is the increased risk of melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer.
If you have ever used a sunbed your risk of melanoma increases by 20%.
Using it before the age of 35 increases your risk by almost 60%
Skin cancer is the fastest growing cancer in Ireland. There are over 13,000 new cases of skin cancer diagnosed each year - over 12,000 non-melanoma skin cancers and 1,100 melanomas.

Pepper Sauce.
I generally don't like sauces and was at a work related dinner and ordered steak and chips but the steak came out with pepper sauce already on it.
I was starving so I ate it.
Game changer. |

I've had pepper sauce on chicken but not sausages. Deffo gonna try that.
And similar to what you said, sometimes I'll just fancy pepper sauce so will chose a meal based on what I fancy with the sauce. |

"Pepper sauce from a powder? Like Erin or Knorr? I love both/either, but it HAS TO BE made entirely with cream - not milk, not low-fat milk, not 50/50 milk & water, not just water. Cream only. "
God no not from powder have some self respect
The one from Aldi in the little sachets is delish |
