It was awful to watch, like Zelenski had been baited and they were there to tear him apart. Totally insulting, treating him like an unruly subordinate rather than an elected leader of a sovereign state.
God knows what other whippings they intend to issue out, under these circumstances other nations should reconsider their plans to visit the White House. |

Just saw on CNN that as soon as he got out of the car Trump turned to the press and said " nice to see someone dressing for the white house " .....I bet he wouldn't mention it if some rich Saudi king turned up in his traditional white robes |

Personally I think Trump and Vance ambushed Zelenski, thinking they could bully him into a deal that would leave Ukraine in a financial hole for years to come. Trump made little of Biden and Obama in the interview again with false rhetoric. It was all played out for the cameras which is not how that sort of thing is done apart from films. Fair play to Zelenski for standing his ground. |

Trump lost face and looked like a dumb kid beside Macron and Starmer so b they used Zelensky to put on a show of force.
They sank the trade deal and made global headlines out of Russian talking points. It's a win for them. |

I agree with everyone's sentiments here but unfortunately what we saw in screen will get twisted by Fox, NewsMax etc to make it look good for the NAGA constituents. This was premeditated. So much for the Macron and Starmer charm offensive. This means Europe is on its own. As a continent we need to man up. |
