We've had a good few bad ones
One that sticks out is , the girl was 5 foot 5 , I'm 5 foot 7 and it's on my profile for the world to see , the day before the said meet was to happen, the excuse was " i want to wear heels on the night and I don't want to look like a giant beside you" lol
But the absolute worst was , day of meet ...about half an hour before we left our house "you said you work in construction and I wouldn't like dirty hands , prefer them manicured "

They locked up early and went home and left me parked in the carpark without a way to get out
Rang the Guards in waterford to get the keyholder to drive back from Dungarvan to let me out
I took a video and sent it to her the next day to explain my embarrassment

All joking aside, a former forum poster once told me that was the reason she had cancelled an arranged meet with another regular contributor.
When I asked her to explain she said she only met men who were popular on the forums because that would reflect better on her.
When I asked what she had actually said to him when she cancelled she said she was "brutally" honest with him and said "You're not as popular as you used to be!" 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Mins before he cancelled saying that - he’s decided that we will meet and then I am only allowed to give him a blow job and nothing more in case I try to get pregnant by him! Seen this couple 3 times and all those times the guy was unable to perform due to stress or some other reasons, no matter what she tries the result was the same. She even danced naked and was being soo seductive for him but nothing helped, for the last meet they came from Virginia to Dublin. Another thing that happened us was , we agreed to meet this couple at theirs on the promise we were to be accommodated overnight no matter the outcome and so drove 2 hours to them , when we arrived they changed location to the pub , met at 9,30 in the pub , was having a good time or so we thought , we were both 4/5 drinks deep then at 1am while we were in the smoking area of the pub they abandoned us leaving us to sleep in the car for the night , when confronted on another app that was used to arrange the meet , the reply was " ah you'll be grand just sleep it off for an hour and drive home " 170 km away from home ,luckily we had friends not far from there who came and collected us and we stayed at theirs for the night, had to get a taxi from theirs back to where the car was parked the next morning at a cost of 70 euro |

It's also pretty common on here. This is my fourth profile and each time I've signed up again with a new profile I got a message from a couple in my area.
It was always exactly the same message.
They weren't married and lived 20 miles apart. I was to meet him in a city centre carpark and he would take me to her home where she would be bent over the sofa.

I arranged to meet a couple who had previously gone radio silent on me a couple of times previously before a meet.
So this third time I was already thinking they were nothing but time wasters despite being verified by others.
Anyway, 20 mins before we were due to meet they contact me and say their car is broken down but they are going to get a lift with a friend of theirs ... But the girl of the couple just has to suck him off for the favour.

With today's technology it would be very easy to minimise no shows. Very easy for the software engineers to built it into the fab site.
Organise a meet on fab, let all parties to the meet confirm the location on a map, check in on arrival and have a report button stating someone didn't turn up.
Which can be confirmed by them not allowing fab to see their location or them not showing up.
Then have a warning visible on the profile that this account was a previous non runner and didn't turn up, all the dreamers would think twice about arranging or agreeing to meet.
Twice I have this happen, a couple who just ghosted me when I got to the location, and also a female, they just block you then, another issue here is bad reviews aren't displayed or left I'd imagine. We only see the good ones and you can't edit or remove afterwards. |

So the night came and I had just closed the door behind me to go and meet at theirs and get a text that they lost their bottle.
Totally fine with me as it was their first time apparently.
They apologized the next day and all was good.
Two weeks later we had arranged to meet again but at my place this time.
No text at all.
So I texted to say that I take it we're not meeting and he replied that he got called into work.
Ok. Plausible, but at least let me know.
The third time was the best though.
About an hour before the arranged meet I get a message that a tree had fallen down in front of their driveway and that they won't make it as they can't get the car out.
After that I got a few more messages from time to time about meeting up and my reply was just 'Grand. Sure let me know.', and left it at that.
Needless to say we never got round to it. |

The issue is that both suggestions are open to abuse. What if I maliciously gave you a negative verification and you'd no option but to display it? What if we'd arranged to meet and I had to cancel but you were really pissed off and reported me as a no show? |

In the last two weeks I've been ghosted...no excuse nothing....all chat, got down to the place an time an then they went silent and didn't read messages so no meet happened...very strange...but in both cases I had back up plans...one profile had no verifications so more fool me, the other had 42 but not displayed!!! Put me off meeting single blokes on this actually...  |

It's very frustrating alright an I do see posts all the time with guys saying it's so difficult to chat to ladies here, I always try to give everyone a response but of late, I'm not arsed an I know it's unfair to tar everyone with the same brush but... |

Half way through the 80km journey to meet her, she messaged saying she fell at work and had to go to hospital. Her partner later messaged saying she is concussed, and bed rest for a week. She never tried to rearrange though. |

I was ghosted once after driving half way across Dublin to south side for a prearranged meet - in a rare Friday on annual leave
… in full contact right up to point I was parking up to run into a shop approx 5 min from my destination.. I was 20 min early getting there as time is time for us all in the real world most of us live in … Then bang “Radio Silence “ from the guy … to compound my frustration I sent a few very polite messages to explain to the guy the I understood … things can change , cold feet etc … could he just drop me a line to confirm meet was off … he read the couple of messages with seconds of me sending but still nothing… obviously I started my car and headed for home … I was so pissed with the guy i totally forgot I was jumping on to M50 on. Friday evening in rush of traffic… 30 min over took 1.30 min back … I’m sure all can imagine my mood on that journey back sitting in traffic 🫣😫

Jesus some of these are horrendous.
If you arrange a meet go on the meet. If you get cold feet or it changes just say it.
I've had some "couples" encounters that turn out to be just a solo guy which I'm always now sus about but that's why I'd always arrange a social before ever a play date (usually).
Long drive meets tend to be tied into work and if it suits it suits, if it doesn't work out then no real loss.
There is an element I imagine which is the "thrill of the hunt" but once that turns into reality they can't convert into actually meeting or they got their thrill out of the hunt. |

I had arranged a date with a woman who cancelled two hours before because she fell down the stairs and bruised her coccyx.
We met up a week later and she still couldn't sit comfortably!

My very first fab meet 9 years ago and we met for coffee twice before agreeing on an hotel.
On the second coffee meet as we got up to leave she missed a step and face planted into the floor but jumped up immediately and said she was ok.
Looking back on how the play meet went a couple of weeks later I wouldn't be surprised if she had done it deliberately🤔🙄 |

So far I was pretty lucky from this point of view 😁
If there's something organised, I always double check with 2-3 hours in advance if the plan stands out. If there's no reply within an hour then I send a text back politely that is no point to waste anyone's time and everything is cancelled.
Always expects nothing and zero harm 😊 |

When the single blokes that didn't meet me didn't reply to my messages I knew something was up...so knew it was either a bullshit profile or just a genuine bullshitter!! I'm only thankful I didn't actually arrange a time an place an go out... an allow them to be no shows! |

Her grandmother died.
Coincidently after I'd driven 3 hours to meet her.
She just died and her family now called to her.
And woman, again last minute her ex bfs family had just called so she cudnt leave. At least hadn't left home for that one |

Had been in conversation with a couple for a while, even friended one another. Then it turned out we were travelling to the same city for the weekend and arranged to meet, even texted one another along the way. Upon arrival everything went quite, after a number hours eventually got a message to say the lady was too d*unk, bummer. Doesn't end there. Some time later our paths crossed in person at a long weekend Fab event, turns out that maybe it was good we did not meet as they were the life of the party not and did not socially engage with others. (They're no longer on Fab do can talk about it now)

Preferably, more than 24hrs (obviously if you are starting to feel unwell & you know the other party has a booking) so a person can avail of the free cancellation of the suite they have to pay for... would be ideal |

"With today's technology it would be very easy to minimise no shows. Very easy for the software engineers to built it into the fab site.
Organise a meet on fab, let all parties to the meet confirm the location on a map, check in on arrival and have a report button stating someone didn't turn up.
Which can be confirmed by them not allowing fab to see their location or them not showing up.
Then have a warning visible on the profile that this account was a previous non runner and didn't turn up, all the dreamers would think twice about arranging or agreeing to meet.
Twice I have this happen, a couple who just ghosted me when I got to the location, and also a female, they just block you then, another issue here is bad reviews aren't displayed or left I'd imagine. We only see the good ones and you can't edit or remove afterwards."
Totally agree with you I just had 2 meets today not happen it's getting redicliciois now on fab my sub is up in 2 days and I am fuked if I am renewing it the administrator doesn't give a toss just wants your money time wasters should be reported and if you can provide evidence with screenshots of messages etc they should be banned and if they set up another account report it and ban it again the site would be a better place then |
