Hi All,
I was working in a company for 21 months until I quit in late September 2023 due to workplace bullying by a person who hurt me so badly that I was forced to quit and I thought I had made good friends in this company until I heard back that some of them former work colleagues ring me every 2 to 3 weeks asking me how I am doing in the new company I’m working in and I just wanted to know news.
These work colleagues are running back to this company that I left with news that I tell them. Should I block all contact with them? Or should I just let their phone calls continue to ring and hoping they might stop ringing me.
Do you have trust in your work colleagues? |

Well it absolutely sucks to know that people you are talking to aren't keeping your confidence. But it sounds like your old place of work was toxic and unfortunately they are still part of that.
If you don't want to hear from them anymore you have that power, ignore their calls, if you don't feed the drama you can move on with your fresh start, and they will lose interest and move on too. |

Sorry to hear you went through that, sounds like a really tough time.
It sounds like your old colleagues aren’t your friends, and don’t have your best interests at heart. I imagine it might be better for you to simply block their numbers and try and move on as best you can, rather than have the numbers ring though unanswered, to remind you of this old company.
Best of luck no matter what you decide. |

Do not drop contact.
You know they are fake, so feed them. Feed them with useless nonsense about how things have taken a turn for the better. Throw in a 100k+ lotto win. Anything, just make it seem like your doing well and happy even if you are not.
Them hearing you are happy will kill them inside |

Just read your previous posts on different threads you created.
You seem to have no luck with people. Or maybe you are just a little bit too sensitive.
Why worry so much about what others think.👍 |
