So, I told my best friend that we joined this site, she wasn't surprised and said she'd have a look (shes in Australia though)
Have any of you guys told your non swinging friends? How did they react?
I know she told another friend (also in Australia) and she was taken back.

I would tell anyone tbh.
Being single I would just describe fab as another way to meet people that's more open to upfront sex positive conversations about what everyone wants.
Feeld is not dissimilar.
Tinder is well known as a hook up app but everyone in kinda maintains the pretense that it isn't too. It's a bit silly.

Few real life friends on here and I remember one asking me once

Just said yes ...didn't want to lie to them and they were obviously on here too
Another friend I told her as I was going to my first meet in a house with a couple and I was driving across country late at night in the dark and lashing rain
Gave her a pin from Google maps when I got there as I was following a car and I had a little niggle in the back of my head in case I was never seen again. |

I’m single but none of my friends know I’m on here and I won’t be telling them either..
Even though they often fish for information about my sexlife, I keep it private and to myself..I don’t be asking my married friends about their sexlife and couldn’t really care about it being honest🤷🏻♂️ |

What happens if you tell that one friend that you really trust, then they will tell another friend who they really trust etc. etc.
Not Before long that one trusted friend who knows your secret has become 10 or 15 people or more.
It's best to keep it private and not tell anyone, it's more exciting that way too😉

I told 2 if my oldest school friends, and another friend that I know has very open views about sex. None of them are Irish and although my school friends were surprised there didn't seem to be any judgement!
My other friend is very familiar with enm and poly and often messages me about reddit sites or books to read. We talk a lot and she gives me great advice. She is very honest with me about situations. When we talk it's like she is talking as my head when I might be listening to my heart. She's essentially my therapist. But she loves hearing about it all. |

A very select few. I've recently mentioned this site to a friend who's going through a separation and in the need of some regular nookie. I'm not her type & it'd be weird for the friendship.
Was a good move, I think. She responded positively and I hope that she'll sign up soon. |

My ex wife found out I’m in the lifestyle and said it to my oldest son. So to avoid her having power and whatever else over me I’ve told my oldest children and some friends. I’ve losted a few customers over it but I’ve gained a few fab customers. |

Definitely not, I live in a small community where everyone wants to know everybody's business. I do have friends who I met on here and socialise with though. If anyone asks how we know each other we just say through work . |

The fact that your best friend felt it was ok to discuss your personal life with someone else is the very reason most people, especially couples,won't divulge that side of their relationship with others! Some people are very quick to gossip and the fallout could be devastating for the couples! My wife knows I'm on here but is worried someone might recognise me and tongue's would wag...that's why there's only one other person that knows and I'd trust them with my life. I reckon most of my friends would frown upon it tbh. |

3 of the ladies I met through my divorce group.
All of my friends who know understand my need for putting myself first & having some fun in my shitty personal situation; sexual & non-sexual fun. |

I told a female work colleague, didn't mention FAB just that I attended swinging parties. To be fair I sort of knew she would love the idea haha. She was so turned on at the thought. Even though a gave no real details at all. Bless her she is a married lady and swore she couldn't do anything like that with her hubby. I bet he got the ride of his life that night though haha. |

Told my brother and sister. They love the stories and the laugh. We all perv together. My brother is married with kids and at it to (Tinder though). We gotta talk about these things with someone.
I occasionally discuss with the hubby more from a sociological viewpoint about my observations while interacting with men on here - I’d say anyone doing psychology would have fab in general as a great subject 😁 |

Yeah one or two, the first was so id have a check-in when I was going to meet someone. Kinda like what BogM said, for security, she's cool and curious about it. but I'm sorry I told the second person, that was an oversharing moment. |
