I love a bit of old school rap but I have to say,watched the Kneecap film and lived it.I didn't think you could rap in Irish but it's brilliant

Was at the Watch the Throne Tour in Dublin 2012, long before Kanye West went completely off the reservation. Kendrick Lamar in Vicar Street the following year 2013.

Dipped in and out over the years...loved N.W.A , public enemy...fast forward a few years to Jurassic 5...some of Kanye's early stuff is great before he lost the plot...loved Kneecap movie and they have some great tunes

I wouldn't really listen to trad on the radio either. I really think trad needs to be experienced live..sitting in a pub in Dingle or Westport or wherever with live trad is brilliant

Versatile had some great tunes a while back. Haven't been super into the more recent stuff. They were very funny.

A few pints and a session in Matt Molloys in Westport can’t be beat.
