Does anyone else hates the way their abs look? how is it the first to go when you stop training or you just likes to eat a little tasty food, it's the hardest muscle group to gain and easiest to lose

Think I'm gonna focus on getting my abs back in shape,

My ab, singular, is just a large muscle mass which overhangs, and protects, the much more valuable muscle which is located directly below it.

Exactly!! It's hard to eat right and maintain body fat and good physique.. influencers makes it real easy on videos to eat tasty and maintain body fat but in reality it's really hard and really expensive, healthy protien rich food costs more money and who says no to a dessert treat at the end of the day

Lot of them alter their pics and videos and also take stuff to maintain that body. Or even great at angels so I would not compare myself to them

Not necessarily the hardest muscle to grow or work. Most people that train regularly have them, it's just that they're covered by a layer of fat.

Its getting to less than 10% BF that's hard, and I really don't want to live the life required for that...cinnamon swirls it is!

This. My core is solid and insulated.

And I honestly don't think anyone would be paying as much attention to my abs as I would.

Haha.. it is!! I get cramped up 2 mins into abs workout and it's awful. The upper abs get seriously cramped and have to stay still and strech it out for the next minute and i just give up.

I think they're easy to gain, you just have to be consistent and don't bother you working the upper 4 abs, just focus on the lower abs. Bang out sets of knee raises, that's all I do!

we are all unique and so is the abdominal muscles and obliques, unless your on growth hormone which then everything grows,as does the prostate. From a fitness perspective, try cardio and pick two of these three, Carbs ,fats ,proteins. Do these, Situps squats pushups pullups. Also if you want to strengthen your abdominal wall, Do vacuums for 15 seconds x 5 times. Your diet dictates your physical condition, alcohol is ones downfall,

I understand your question and I ain't being humorous or anything like all above.. many ways for growth and development, start by educating yourself and giving yourself a choice, Either try harder than last time or continue on your self conscious concerns.

Also, try imagine being punched in the stomach, that in itself will develop a behavior which will be consistent and allow for better ab control.

Take it from someone who knows pal and Trains others in that field,

We can be more complex in training but for now try what is written above,

Not selling my help but I am a PT and Nutritionist with a mental aptitude for mobility.

It's all fun n games until you find yourself still wearing a T-shirt during the hot hot summer days.

Your welcome by the way.

Pm me if you want any further help.

Kind regards , Phil.

Idk it shows the dedication and discipline and i guess when you truly look after yourself it's and identity, and most importantly feels good to take the shirt off in a beach or somewhere

Also, when I talk about abs, I talk about muscle. This does not include all you "skinny-fat" dudes, walking around with less muscle than a pigeon! 😂😂

We're yet to see a muscled pigeon 😂

And if these skinny fat dudes keep walking, they'll soon be skinny full stop, encourage those who need encouragement offer a hand instead of passing remark by simply looking and judging as most do.

Hard work beats talent.

And most couldn't tell the difference between a romboid and the flexor digitorum brevis.

Tell ya what, there's some smart pigeons out there. 💪🏻😂

The term skinny-fat refers to people who are very scrawny, not those carrying a few pounds!

I'm a skinny fat guy.

Stopped training a few years back and all my muscle mass collected in my belly.

It's like it slid of my shoulders and upper boby down into to my belly.

All hubby has to do is one over 35's training, a few weight sesions and his abs appear. He's a good pedigree 😜

I on the otherhand, will never have abs, and that's OK because I love food! Life is way too short to sweat the small stuff 😋

😕😕😕 some people can eat and eat whatever they want and not get a bit of fat, they might not like that because it makes it hard for them to gain weight and mass but their metabolism is insane they can rock great abs too. Me on the other hand even if i starve to death my belly will be the last to leave me
