I love dogs, and we have one. But they can be hard work at times!
I never really liked cats, but in recent years I've really come around to them. Love their independence! If you're not around, they just get on with it! |

Dogs for sure. I’ve a golden retriever and a Rottweiler. Golden retriever is nuts and can’t sit still. The Rottweiler just wants cuddles. Both very loyal dogs. The Rottweiler hates men especially in vans. Buts she would lick the face of a female. |

"Golden retrievers all the way. Have a European breed one. They are nuts. Wud luv a bernaise mountain. "
Never will I ever go down the road of a Bernese Mountain Dog again!!! As much as I love mine, she's costing an arm and a leg and is a bundle of nerves... |

I was a dog person all my life until my kids talked into getting cats and now I like both.
Dogs will give you unconditional love and cats will give you side eye and if your lucky they'll let you pet them.
I need both the adoration and the validation. |

Dogs, unconditional affection. You really feel it when they pass. I surprised myself when the family dog died.
On a lighter notes, cats aren't a bad side kick. Bit smarter than the auld typical golden retriever. But there instincts are amazing. |
