Unpredictable cycle (for the ladies)

Hey ladies
I’ve recently had a change in cycle pattern . I’ve gone from having no period (due to contraceptive injection ) to having one almost every day for the last 4 weeks . Obviously I plan to see the doctor to get it checked out , but how do ladies with unpredictable cycles manage with meets on here. I don’t want to arrange a meet and have to cancel on the day because I’ve started bleeding (even though it’s only very light ) I don’t feel sexy having sex on my period so that’s not an option for me |

While peri-menopausal my cycle was very unpredictable. I just had to plan as best I could, but had to cancel a couple of times with profuse apologies. Truthfully, anyone worth their salt will understand and perhaps, if you're feeling up to it, you could suggest doing something else socially instead. |

Cycles depend on where you in your hormonal journey. Unfortunately as you age, cycles fluctuate. I find mature men understand and being honest is the best policy. Definitely go to doctor to check hormone levels. |

I get ya. That's unsettling. I've the coil now so it's not an issue. But in your shoes id probably just not arrange any meets til I saw the doc and it all settled down. Some guys would be fine with it all, and that's a comfort in itself, but if you feel out of sorts it would just be adding stress to have meets planned.

It's a pain well was I've not had a period in 3 yrs. But prior to it from being very clockwork, to it being the polor opposite. I had to cancell. But you do get impression your just fobbing off it's a easy excuse to use.... nothing worse the getting issues leading up to menopause with a regular cycle. |

I've been regular to within a few days for my while life so when things started to change last year it completely threw me mentally and physically. It wasn't much blood and I was meeting someone I knew well but it was an issue for me. And my mental state was affected due to the changing hormones which was almost harder to deal with.
I have cancelled meets when I've started earlier than expected. I couldn't feel comfortable about it even if they said no problem.
If it would just stop i'd only be thrilled

It's hard to get a doctor to listen to you . Most female doctors say oh live with it or just get over it.
I found male doctors can be more sympathetic and more willing to help. Think finding a doctor that will listen and will tru to help is the main thing and the hardest thing. |

I’ve had the opposite experience with male doctors tbh . I’m sure I’m on the road to peri menopause 😫 |

Can be hard went on HRT beig mistake was exactly like when got periods as teenager was moody old cow and angry all the time. Stopped it and went different root all back to normal like was before found out was menopausal. But it been a couple of times been told I was that way then following test was told wrong. So I just do what I think is best for me and it works. Hopefully it will nit be such a problem for you and get right advice to move on. |

Just to help you with the actual question, you can buy a menstrual cup that allows you to have sex or a tampon that is actually a sponge you put in. In case you buy the sponge, I recommend the one with lub/moisturiser. |

everything indicates that it has started with me too... I am devastated 😭 because physically and mentally I feel terrible...😟😖😤 I'm exhausted, I can't sleep, my heart is pounding 🥹, I don't feel like talking to anyone plus these constant unexpected periods, i want to cry... 😭😭😭 how long can this last? ☹️😢😓 |
